National Assembly Standing Committee begins 21st session

st session of the National Assembly Standing Committee opens in Hanoi on Monday.

The Committee will discuss 10 draft laws including the revised Law on Health Insurance, the revised Law on Notary, the revised Law on Environmental Protection, and the revised Law on Construction.
The Standing Committee will listen to reports by the supervisory delegation on the enforcement of policies and laws on recruiting, training, and appointing cadres and state employees and the pilot project on abolishing the People's Councils at district and ward levels. The session will comment on reports on the results of the vote of confidence at the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels, the draft revisions of the 1992 Constitution, preparations for the 6th session of the 13th National Assembly, and the organization of the 132nd Inter-parliamentary Union in Vietnam.
