(VOVworld)-The Ministry of Justice has reviewed the implementation of household registration laws and regulations.

During the national conference in Hanoi on Saturday, delegates confirmed major achievements in household registration and management but identified problems in some provinces, including untimely and inaccurate registration and dispersed database. Deputy Minister of Justice Dinh Trung Tung called for a renovation in household registration books and registration:“We need to promote administrative reform in household registration to remove costs and risks for registrants. State management on household registration should be improved through application of information technology and on-line registration.”

Addressing the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc called for an early application of identification number for citizens and further fine-tuning the law on household registration for better management services.
