(VOVworld) – A new direct air route linking Moscow with Vietnam’s Khanh Hoa province will offer one flight every five days, starting in 2015.

Chartered by the Anex Vietnam Trade and Tourism Limited Company, the flights will carry holiday visitors to Nha Trang city. The first flight, carrying 336 Russian nationals, landed at Cam Ranh International Airport on Sunday. Khanh Hoa has taken the lead in attracting Russian tourists with nearly 270,000 visitors last year, 25% of the total foreign arrivals to the province. The new air route aims to maintain growth in the number of Russian visitors and is expected to help Khanh Hoa add 2,000 extra tourist arrivals each month.
