(VOVworld) – Tens of thousands of tourists visited Hanoi during the recent New Year’s holiday. The Hanoi Temple of Literature, Thang Long Royal citadel, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, and Hanoi’s Old Quarter were the favorite destinations of visitors. Hanoi held a number of art performances to celebrate the New Year.

The Botanical Garden and Dam Sen and Suoi Tien parks were the top tourist attractions in Ho Chi Minh City. Tran Thi Bich Loan, a tourist from Ninh Thuan province is visiting Suoi Tien Park: “I’ve been to other tourist sites but this time I wanted to have a different experience so I decided to visit Suoi Tien. I watched a dolphin performance for the first time. It was very interesting.”
In the Central Highlands, 50,000 tourists flocked to Da Lat city during the holiday, twice as many as last year.
