New impetus for Vietnam-UK Strategic Partnership

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Ambassador to the UK Do Minh Hung has highlighted the significance of Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh’s upcoming visit to the UK from March 16 to March 20, saying this is the first high-level diplomatic engagement between the two nations this year.

During his visit, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh is scheduled to meet with key British government and parliamentary leaders, including Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner and Speaker of the House of Commons Lindsay Hoyle.

He will also hold discussions with leaders from the UK’s Exchequer, Department of Business and Trade, and the Bank of England, among others, to explore measures for deepening economic collaboration and strengthening trade and investment ties.

Ambassador Do Minh Hung expressed confidence that the visit will be a great success, creating fresh momentum for economic, financial, banking, and educational cooperation and enhancing the dynamic and effective development of the Vietnam-UK Strategic Partnership.
