(VOVworld) – New Zealand’s Minister for Economic Development and Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment plans to visit Ho Chi Minh City from Tuesday.
The New Zealand ambassador to Vietnam, Haike Manning, said that the 3-day visit could open up new opportunities to strengthen cooperation in trade, investment and education between the two nations. Vietnam currently ranks 20th among New Zealand’s trade partners and bilateral trade is expected to reach US$1 billion by 2015.

During the working visit to HCM City, Minister Steven Joyce will meet leaders of the municipal People’s Committee to discuss economic and trade issues and the important role of New Zealand’s business community in Ho Chi Minh City in stepping up cooperation between the two nations.
