(VOVworld) – 50 organizations and individuals across Vietnam were honored with the 2015 Vietnam Environment Awards in recognition of their active involvement in the country’s environmental protection activities in 2013 and 2014. The award ceremony took place on Thursday in Vinh Yen City, Vinh Phuc province. Awardees were hailed for their outstanding performance in improving state management in environmental protection, education and training, promoting communications on environmental protection, as well as their solutions to better preserve, use, and develop natural resources, preserve bio-diversity, and mitigate climate change impacts.
