Bilateral relations have
flourished in politics, security, and national defense, as well as economics,
trade, investment, and people-to-people exchanges, Mr. Quang said. He underlined
the great contributions of the people of both countries, including the Vietnamese
community in Thailand, to the success of the bilateral relationship.
“The Party and State consider overseas Vietnamese an inseparable part
of the Vietnamese people and always create favorable conditions for the Vietnamese
community to stabilize their life, integrate into the host country, preserve and
uphold their cultural identity. Though they live abroad,
their hearts are always with their homeland. I hope there will be more
incentive policies to support overseas Vietnamese in difficult areas, and meet
their cultural and spiritual needs,” President Quang stressed.
