The P4G, themed “Sustainable and People-Centered Green Transition”, will take place in Hanoi from Monday to Thursday, marking the first time that Vietnam is hosting a high-level multilateral summit focusing on green growth, green transition, and sustainable development.
The event is expected to welcome 600 international delegates from 40 countries and international organizations, including P4G member countries and partners, guests, investment funds, research institutes, scholars, businesses, and diplomats.
Through the summit, Vietnam also wants to showcase its dynamic economic potential, unique cultural identity, and the hospitality and resilience of its people.
Deputy PM Son said the summit will discuss policies that promote public-private partnerships, attract investment, maximize resources for green transition, accelerate the application of technology and innovation for more effective use of resources, reduce emissions, advance sustainable energy transition, and prepare human resources for the green economy.
The summit is expected to adopt the Hanoi Declaration, reaffirming strong commitments to green and sustainable growth centered on the people, and a collective determination to act responsibly in addressing today’s global challenges.
Mr. Son said he believes that the summit will benefit all stakeholders, helping the international community identify more effective solutions to global challenges and achieve concrete outcomes in SDG implementation.
