Party Central Committee’s Internal Affairs Commission makes its debut

(VOVworld) - The Party Central Committee’s Internal Affairs Commission began operation on Friday following amendments to the Law on Anti-Corruption. The commission deputy, Pham Anh Tuan said the division serves as a standing agency of the central steering committee on anti-corruption, which is headed by the Party General Secretary and founded by the Politburo: “The Internal Affairs Commission is a consulting agency of the Party Central Committee and the Politburo. It takes the lead in initiating major guidelines and policies in internal affairs and anti-corruption.”

The commission foundation is warmly responded by the public. Former Deputy Chief of Government Inspectorate, Duong Ngoc Son, said: “It’s important that the Politbureau straightly gets involved in directing anti-corruption efforts. Under the Party General Secretary leadership, I hope the fight against corruption will be successful.”
