(VOVworld)-Member of the Politbureau, Vice-chairman and Secretary-general of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, Li Jianguo, has led a Communist Party of China’s delegation visit to Vietnam.

During a reception on Sunday by Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong, Li briefed the outcomes of the recent Chinese 18^th National Party Congress and praised Vietnam’s achievements in renovation and socialist building. He reiterated the Party and government of China’s treasure of strategic comprehensive cooperation with Vietnam. Party leader Trong said that the time honored relations between the two countries will be an important foundation for further cooperation, including the settlement of sea related issues for peace, stability and development in the world.
