Party leader applauds tremendous dedication of revolutionary veterans

(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary To Lam on Monday met with revolutionary veterans, former members of the Party Central Committee, former leaders of Party Committees and agencies, the Fatherland Front and central socio-political organizations on the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).

The meeting also saw the attendance of President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
The Party leader applauded their tremendous dedication and contributions and expressed his hope that the delegates will continue to promote the precious tradition, contribute their talents and wisdom and together with the Party, the Fatherland and the people, be determined to build a prosperous and happy country in the new era.
The Party and State leaders presented Party badges and new Party membership cards to revolutionary veterans and former members of the Party Central Committee.
