Party leader meets with Indian leaders

(VOVworld) –Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on Wednesday held talks with Indian President Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi.
President Pranab Mukherjee affirmed that India always attaches importance to maintaining and continuously boosting the friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Vietnam.
The two leaders agreed that the Vietnam-India relationship has seen important progress in recent years, especially since it was upgraded to a strategic partnership.
The same day, Mr. Trong met with Vice President and Senate Chairman Hamid Ansari. He stressed that Vietnam stands ready to make it easier for Indian firms to do business in Vietnam. They agreed to further strengthen friendly exchanges and the sharing of experience and information between both countries’ legislatures.
