Party leader Lam, who is also Secretary of the Central Military Commission, asked the museum to place greater emphasis on the vital role of the people in national defense, as well as on the Vietnam People’s Army’s international responsibilities.
Expressing his impression of the museum’s design and extensive collection of artefacts, the Party chief said these vividly demonstrate the development of the heroic Vietnam People’s Army.
Spanning nearly 64ha, the museum features a modern design with multiple functional areas and advanced projection technologies. Its main exhibits are organised into six themes, charting pivotal chapters in Vietnam’s history, from 700 BC to present.
