(VOV/VOVworld)- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the EU delegation to Vietnam today held a seminar with the theme: “Partnership and Cooperation Agreement- a new framework for Vietnam-EU relations”. The participants discussed PCA’s importance to the Vietnam-EU relationship, and prospects, opportunities and challenges for the cooperation strategy between EU and Vietnam. A book on the PCA was launched the same day. Vietnam and the European Union have long discussed the PCA and last year they signed a minute to the agreement, which defines basic principles of the bilateral ties, the framework for comprehensive cooperation in development cooperation, trade, investment, judicial cooperation, peacekeeping international security and technical cooperation. Both sides agreed that the PCA reflects the development of Vietnam- EU relations over more than 20 years.
