International relief teams on Wednesday started cleaning streets in the city of Tacloban where the storm caused tremendous damage. Tens of thousands of people here have lost their houses. Meanwhile, a US team has quickly built temporary medical treatment centers. Donations have arrived from the UK and 50 thousand food packages have been delivered by the Philippine government. However, this will fed only 3% of the 1.7 million families who need help. According to the Philippines’ social welfare agency, 27 thousand tons of food have been delivered to people in Tacloban city.
