PM attends 120th anniversary of Tra Vinh’s establishment

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked Tra Vinh province to take advantage of its potential, focus on high-tech agriculture, improve the business environment and regional connectivity, and pay more attention to higher education.

Mr. Phuc made the request while attending the 120th anniversary of the establishment of Tra Vinh province on Tuesday.
He said: “It’s necessary to uphold the revolutionary tradition in combination with the spirit of daring and mindset change based on the existing achievements, especially after 28 years of the province’s reestablishment. I strongly believe that the Party Committee and people of Tra Vinh will continue to be united, join efforts, and boost renovation and comprehensive development to fulfill the targets and missions set by the 10th Party Congress to make Tra Vinh more prosperous with improvements in people’s living conditions.”
On this occasion, Prime Minister Phuc awarded the first-class Labor Order to Tra Vinh province’s people and cadres for their excellent performance in socio-economic development.
