PM calls on partners to share experiences in int’l financial centre development
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Tuesday attended a roundtable on developing the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) and an international financial centre in Ho Chi Minh City, during which he expressed his hope to learn from foreign friends’ experiences in this work.

Delegates discussed experiences in establishing and developing financial centers with international partners, explored opportunities for collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City International Financial Center (HCMC IFC), and provided recommendations and investment plans for Vietnam.
They commended the Vietnamese government implement specific policies and strategies to advance AI research, development, and application. They also highlighted Vietnam's favorable conditions for building a modern financial market, aiming to establish a regional and international financial hub.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his appreciation for the insights shared during the seminar and called on global delegates and investors to continue contributing ideas to address institutional challenges and mobilize resources.
He emphasized the need for breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation in Ho Chi Minh City. The Prime Minister also encouraged the C4IR Center to serve as a core hub of innovation and development, reflecting the city's potential and strengthening the partnership between the World Economic Forum (WEF) and Vietnam. He underscored the role of WEF in addressing challenges not only for Vietnam but also for the region and the world.
Regarding the development of the Ho Chi Minh City International Financial Center, the Prime Minister urged major corporations to share their expertise and strategies to accelerate its establishment.
