At the meeting, the two sides agreed that after the historic reciprocal visit by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to China in 2022 and by Party General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping to Vietnam in 2023, the bilateral comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership maintains positive momentum and has made historic progress.

Prime Minister Chinh said he hopes that all levels and sectors of both sides will actively innovate thinking, create measures, and thoroughly grasp and promote the practical implementation of agreements and the common perceptions of the senior leaders of the two Parties and two countries, especially the Joint Declaration on continuing to deepen and elevate the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and building a Vietnam-China Community with a Shared Future that carries strategic significance towards the 75th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties next year.

Mr. Wang emphasized that China considers relations with Vietnam a priority direction in China's neighborhood diplomacy and consistently supports Vietnam’s Doi Moi (renewal) policy under the leadership of the Communist Party, Vietnam’s successful implementation of national industrialization and modernization and elevated Vietnam's prestige and position in international arena.

The Chinese leader affirmed his readiness to promote Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference agencies’ exchanges and coordination with the Vietnamese Fatherland Front at all levels, together thoroughly grasp and realize high-level common perception, deepen practical cooperation, and develop the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and the Vietnam-China Community with a Shared Future which carries strategic significance.
