Speaking at the monthly government meeting for September on Thursday, the Prime Minister said price control is one the key measures to fuel socio-economic growth from now until the year end: “We need to keep inflation rate under 2-digit figure. The current inflation rate is 5.13% and we must keep inflation rate increase below 1% monthly to achieve 8% rate by the year end. Inflation control is closely linked to macroeconomic stabilization for sustainable growth.”

The Prime Minister called for more efforts to facilitate business operation and boost exports in rice, aquaculture products, footwear and textiles while strengthening economic restructuring.
