PM Chinh received Lin Wu, Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Shandong Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, who is on a working trip to Vietnam on Thursday.
The Prime Minister said he hopes that Shandong province and Vietnamese localities will boost the exchange of development experiences and human resource training in areas where Shandong has strengths and prioritize the import of Vietnamese goods, especially high-quality agricultural products.
He also asked Shandong to share experiences in implementing Free Trade Zones and market facilitation policies to create conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to better access their market. He suggested that Shandong encourage enterprises that represent the province’s scientific and technological level to increase high-quality investment, transfer advanced technology and train high-quality human resources for Vietnam.
Agreeing with Prime Minister Chinh's opinions, Shandong Provincial Party Secretary Lin said there’s ample potential for cooperation between Shandong and Vietnamese localities. Shandong wishes to work with Vietnamese localities to improve the quality of cooperation in trade, investment, production, and expand cooperation in new areas such as green development and digital economy, he said.
