The project is one of six border schools being built in the province in 2025, following the Politburo’s directive on building 248 inter-level boarding schools for primary and lower secondary students in border communes across the country.
Prime Minister Chinh stressed that investment in boarding schools is vital to meeting students’ learning and living needs. He urged local authorities to ensure construction quality and progress, striving for completion before August 30 next year.
“Providing education to children so they can realize their aspirations is the shared responsibility of the State, society, schools, and each of us. The construction of boarding schools must come from the heart - from our sincerity and love for the cause of education and training.”
On this occasion, the Prime Minister presented gifts to disadvantaged families and households affected by natural disasters, as well as more than 600 jackets to students of Bat Mot Boarding School.
Later the same day, Mr. Chinh inspected the operation of the Public Administrative Service Center and the two-tier local government model in Bat Mot commune.
