(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Sunday worked with the Standing Board of the Vinh Phuc provincial Party Committee on socio-economic development and made recommendations for Vinh Phuc to develop rapidly and sustainably.

PM Chinh said Vinh Phuc plays a crucial role in the regional and national economic development strategy and has strong potential for multi-sector economic growth thanks to its favorable geographical location, convenient transportation system, and unique traditional culture.
He said he hopes the province will overcome its limitations, restructure its economy appropriately, renew its traditional growth drivers like investment, export, and consumption, promote new growth drivers like digital transformation, green transformation, the circular economy, the sharing economy, the knowledge-based economy, and new fields like semiconductors and AI, and make the most of its development spaces.
PM Chinh also asked Vinh Phuc to build social housing and mobilize resources for infrastructure development, especially in transportation, technology, culture, education, and health.
