While receiving Deputy Speaker of the House of Councilors of Japan Koshiishi Azuma in Hanoi on Tuesday, Rua, who is President of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group, hailed the group’s contributions to the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance. He urged Deputy Speaker to continue to support cooperation between the two countries, parliaments and peoples. Azuma expressed his hope that the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group will continue to be a bridge connecting the two peoples, and said he will do his utmost to improve relations between the two legislative bodies.
