Population and housing census begins across Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - The General Statistics Office has begun collecting information for the mid-term population and housing census in all 63 provinces and cities nationwide. The census will be completed by April 30 and the results will be released in December this year.
The collected data will be used for assessing the implementation of the socio-economic development plan for the 2021-2025 period, and policy making and population and housing planning to serve the socio-economic development plan until 2030 and the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals to which the Government of Vietnam has committed.
