(VOVWORLD) - At least 15 Palestinians were killed Sunday night in Israeli airstrikes on three residential buildings in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, Palestinian official news agency Wafa reported on Monday.

Many others were still trapped under the rubble as rescue forces worked to save the victims. The Israeli army killed 66 Palestinians and wounded many others in the past 24 hours, Health Ministry in Gaza said in a statement.
Israeli media reported Sunday that the International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor in the Hague, is considering issuing arrest warrants for for Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister, and the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army on charges related to Israel’s conflict with Hamas.
Israel on Sunday issued an urgent directive for all Israeli embassies around the world to immediately carry out necessary preparations, including strengthening security to brace for possible hostilities towards Israelis and Jews after the International Court issues the arrest warrants.
