HCMC’s voters praised the NA’s first session, adding that with responsibility, democracy, and frankness, the legislature completed the state apparatus and adoption of high-ranking personnel to state agencies.

They said they hope NA deputies will properly realize the action plans relating to public debts, environment pollution, food and traffic safety, administrative reforms, marine sovereignty protection, solutions to socio-economic development during year-end months, workers’ salaries, and benefits for national contributors.

President Quang clarified voters’ concerns about solutions to socio-economic development from now until the end of the year.

He added: “We’ll continue to improve business and investment environment, boost production and trade to increase the productivity, the competitiveness of the national economy and all businesses. It’s necessary for us to ensure a stable macro-economy, control inflation, and speed up the disbursement of public investment for infrastructure development. We need practical measures to overcome the consequences of drought, saline intrusion, environmental pollution, respond to climate change, step up administrative reforms, and build a modern and effective administrative system.”
