President of World Women Inventors and Entrepreneurs Association awarded insignia
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) on Tuesday presented the Merit Medal "For the development of Vietnamese women" to Han Mi Young, President of the World Women Inventors and Entrepreneurs Association (WWIEA).

In 2008, Ms. Han and former VWU President Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa signed a memorandum of understanding at the Korea International Women's Invention Exposition (KIWIE). Vietnam has been sending delegations to the annual exposition since then. Vietnam Women’s Innovation Day has been organized since 2011.
In October, 2010, as President of the WWIEA, Han Mi Young signed a memorandum of understanding with the VWU on boosting women’s development. In November, 2012, the two associations signed an additional memorandum of understanding on the intellectual property of women.
