President receives Japan’s House of Representatives Speaker
(VOVWORLD) - President Tran Dai Quang says Vietnam treasures the extensive strategic partnership with Japan and considers the country Vietnam’s top long-term partner.

At a reception for visiting Speaker of the House of Representatives Oshima Tadamori, in Hanoi on Friday, Mr. Quang suggested that both houses of Japan support the government in continuing to provide Official Development Assistance (ODA) to Vietnam, particularly when the two countries are connecting their economies and boosting cooperation with many large-scale projects.
The guest said that after returning home, he will introduce Vietnam’s potential to Japanese businesses. He also said he expects Vietnam to create favorable conditions in legal procedures and investment climate for Japanese businesses to invest in Vietnam.
