(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang has chaired a working session with the People’s Supreme Procuracy to review its performance in the first half of this year and set directions for the remaining months. At a function in Hanoi on Tuesday, President Truong Tan Sang said criminal activities have developed in complex ways, especially in the fields of corruption and drug trafficking. To deal with pending obstacles, the President asked the agency to understand the reasons for these cases, particularly economic crimes, to avoid public misunderstanding. President Truong Tan Sang said the procuracy should improve personnel resources to meet the country’s judicial renewal process to minimize unjust cases. He called on the agency to work closely with other ministries and the relevant bureaus to perfect the legal system in line with the revised Constitution.
