President Truong Tan Sang

(VOVworld) – On Sunday, the first day of Lunar New Year, President Truong Tan Sang visited some prominent scientists in Ho Chi Minh city.  The President wished the scientists and their families a new year of happiness and success. He listened to their recommendations on socio-economic development, social welfare and party building. President Sang expressed his hope that the scientists and intellectuals will devote more their energy to national development and international integration. The scientists to whom the President paid New Year visit include Professor, Doctor Chu Pham Ngoc Son, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations in Ho Chi Minh city, Associate Professor, Doctor Phan Thi Tuoi, former Rector of Ho Chi Minh city’s University of Technology, Associate Professor, Doctor Tran Thanh Dam, former Rector of Ho Chi Minh city’s Teachers’ Training College.
