President Truong Tan Sang

(VOVworld)- State President Truong Tan Sang received in Hanoi on Monday the new President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Akihiko Tanaka. Speaking at the meeting, President Sang highlighted the significance of Mr. Tanaka’s visit to Vietnam as the two countries are celebrating the 40^th anniversary of their diplomatic ties. Sang said JICA, which increases its aid for Vietnam every year, is an important organization in the country. The President expressed his hope that the new JICA President will pay more attention to projects in Vietnam and strengthen cooperation exchanges between JICA and Vietnam in order to contribute to the bilateral ties.
