President Truong Tan Sang works in Ba Ria-Vung Tau
(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang held a working session with Ba Ria –Vung Tau provincial authorities on Friday to discuss local socioeconomic development and measures to ensure national defense and security. President Sang visited several industrial zones and explored local fishermen's living conditions at Cat Lo offshore port. He said the Party and State always created favorable conditions for local people’s fishing activities.
Also on Friday, President Sang visited staff and workers from the specialized Phu My industrial zone, calling on them to focus on manufacturing agricultural, transportation, and construction machinery.
Earlier, he attended an inaugural ceremony for the expanded construction of a steel plant invested by Japanese steelmaker Vina Kyoei in the Phu My I Industrial Park in Tan Thanh district, the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
