(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang visited Hai Phong city on Tuesday to review its investment attraction and the development of its industrial parks and economic zones. He said the city should create policies favorable for development investment in the key northeastern economic region. He asked ministries and sectors to cooperate with Hai Phong to develop the Dinh Vu-Lach Huyen international seaport to serve the city’s sustainable growth.

President Sang burned incense at the Trang Kenh temple historical relic site in Thuy Nguyen district, which saw 3 of Vietnam’s victories against northern invaders.

President Sang also visited a number of foreign-invested projects in Hai Phong.
