President To Lam works with agencies on past emulation and commendation work and future directions and tasks

Working with agencies on past emulation and commendation work and future directions and tasks in Hanoi on Wednesday, the President urged special attention to be paid to institutionalizing the country's policies and guidelines, and finetuning laws on emulation and reward.

At the meeting, President To Lam praised the Ministry of Home Affairs for promptly providing statistics and reports evaluating recent emulation and commendation work. He emphasized that as 2025 will be the year of many national celebrations: 95 years of the Communist Party of Vietnam; 50 years of National Reunification; and 80 years of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the emulation and reward work must be reviewed to match the practical needs.

The President also asked the Central Emulation and Commendation Council to advise and propose new directives, which should aim to emulate towards the 100th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam in 2030 and 100 years of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, in 2045.
