(VOVworld) - The Presidential Office announced on Thursday five laws and three resolutions which were approved at the 8th session of the 13th National Assembly. They include the Laws on National Assembly Organisation, Citizen Identification, and the revised Law on Civil Aviation of Vietnam.

The Presidential Office also announced that the National Assembly passed a resolution on votes of confidence on officials elected or approved by the NA or People’s Councils and two resolutions ratifying the UN Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
The Law on National Assembly Organization, consisting of 16 Articles, specifies the responsibilities and rights of the NA in legislation, oversight, and deciding major national issues in line with the 2013 Constitution.
The Law on Citizen Identification defines the national population database and requirements for the management of citizen identification.
The revised Law on Civil Aviation of Vietnam stipulates that the State sets the prices of aviation services and defines the obligations of air cargo enterprises and their basic service rules and quality standards.
