Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh successfully concludes trip to WEF Dalian 2024, China visit

(VOVWORLD) - On Thursday, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese delegation returned to Hanoi, successfully concluding their trip to attend the 15th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Dalian and their working visit to China from June 24-27.

This visit was made at the invitation of Chinese State Council Premier Li Qiang and WEF Founder and Chairman Klaus Schwab.

At WEF Dalian 2024, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh participated in and spoke at various discussion and working sessions. He co-chaired a dialogue session with leaders of WEF's major corporations alongside Klaus Schwab and chaired a WEF discussion with innovative businesses.

During his bilateral activities in China, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping, Premier of the State Council of China Li Qiang, and Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, Wang Huning.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's trip underscores Vietnam’s foreign policy objectives as outlined in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and Directive 25 of the Secretariat on promoting and upgrading multilateral diplomacy until 2030.

This visit contributed to deepening the Vietnam-China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, building the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future, and enhancing cooperative relations between Vietnam and the WEF.
