(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has praised the Vietnam - France partnership which has progressed well in all fields.

At a reception in Hanoi on Thursday for visiting French Chief of Defence, Staff Admiral Edouard Guillaud, Dung expressed his delight at the approaching 40^th anniversary of diplomatic ties, which will continue to bringing bilateral relations to a new height. He also applauded the sound cooperation between the two defence ministries and armies.
Admiral Guillaud expressed his wish to consolidate the partnership between the two armies. Regarding the East Sea issue, he backed Vietnam’s stance of settling disputes via peaceful talks in accordance with international laws and supporting unrestricted navigation in the East Sea.
