(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received Myanmar’s Minister of Information Ye Htut in Hanoi on Tuesday. He said that he hoped Vietnam and Myanmar will continue to promote cooperation in politics and diplomacy, contributing to building an ASEAN Community in 2015. He also called for increased cooperation to ensure regional peace and security and deepen bilateral ties. He asked the government of Myanmar to quickly allow Vietnamese businesses to expand there telecommunication services and open Vietnamese banking offices in Myanmar. He also urged for greater efforts to boost the implementation of cooperative agreements in 13 areas reached between the two countries’ senior leaders.
