(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Thursday asked for a meeting next Tuesday between the government, local authorities, and ministers of finance, banking, industry and trade, and planning and investment, to discuss measures to boost the economy during the Covid-19 pandemic.

High on the agenda will be resolving business difficulties, distributing 28 billion USD of public investment fund, social welfare, employment, minimum pension, security at national level, and ensuring the people’s livelihood.
Mr. Phuc praised local leaders, particularly of Ho Chi Minh city, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, and Can Tho, for taking strong measures in containing the disease.
