(VOVworld)- On Monday in Can Tho, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc had a working session with Can Tho city’s leaders on the implementation of soio-economic tasks.

He urged efforts to develop Can Tho into a hub for the Mekong delta region and to plan high-quality cultivation areas. He suggested that Can Tho should be linked with other cities in Asia and the world to acquire advanced technology. The Prime Minister stressed the need for planning to cope with climate change.

Earlier, Mr. Phuc inspected some transport projects and visited policy beneficiaries in Can Tho city.
