According to Vietnam’s Customs Department, processed coconut remains the key product, earning over 203 million USD in seven months, up 57%. Other items, such as mango, pistachio, almond, and passion fruit, also generated revenues ranging from 64 million USD to over 100 million USD each, with growth rates of 4–86% compared to last year.

Agricultural experts forecast that the 2026–2030 period will be a breakthrough for Vietnam’s processed fruit and vegetable sector, as China continues to open its market to more processed fruits, while the US and Europe boost demand for green and sustainable products.

If Vietnam can take advantage of signed protocols, along with investment in deep-processing technologies and standardized raw material areas, the country may sustain double-digit annual growth, making processed fruits and vegetables a stable billion-dollar export category, they said.
