(VOVworld) – The 2013 program for support of examinees involved more than 42,000 volunteers and helped more than 820,000 examinees and their relatives. At a ceremony to review the program hosted by the Vietnamese Student Association on Saturday in Ho Chi Minh city, organizers said the program developed all over the country, focusing on 12 provinces and cities. Volunteers conducted such practical activities as introducing guest houses, instructing examinees how to complete examination formalities, providing counseling, and transporting examinees in need. According to organizers, this voluntary program continues to won community support. Duong Trong Phuc, deputy chief organizer, said: “This program has entered its 17th year. We have prepared to make it more effective, better serving examinees and their parents. Volunteers responded enthusiastically with enough skills and knowledge.  We can say that this year the whole society, including lodging owners, business people and the community, was involved in this program”.
