(VOVworld) - The Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy hosted a workshop to review comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and the US on Friday. Delegates heard reports on bilateral cooperation in trade, education and training, science and technology, environment while making predictions on future cooperative trends. They praised major progress in bilateral ties after 20 years of diplomatic relations normalization. Minister of Science and Technology, Nguyen Quan expected further cooperation with the US in science and technology: “I hope for more cooperation with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration following Vietnam’s admission to several international treaties on space. I wish for more exchanges in materials science, bio-technology, information technology, renewable and fossil fuel energy industries.”
