Bao Lam Border Guard Station is assigned to manage and protect a 15-kilometer border section with 41 national border markers.

Earlier this month, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province supported more than 16,800 USD for surveying, designing, and starting construction of patrol roads to the border markers. The remaining patrol road sections to border markers are under construction and expected to be completed this month.
