(VOVworld)- The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a Vietnam – Russia Business Forum in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday. Addressing the event, local authorities expressed their hope for increasing trade promotion in the Russian market. Russian businesses said they wanted to invest in electronics, oil and gas, machine engineering, mining, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment in Vietnam. Nguyen Thi Hong is Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City’s People’s Committee: “Ho Chi Minh City always considers Russia a key potential market. In the near future, we plan to increase trade promotion activities in the Russian market. I hope that at this forum, we will receive more information and increase links to the Russian market. I believe Vietnamese goods will satisfy Russian customers”.
