Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan to block Western exports

(VOVworld) – The Presidents of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus discussed on Wednesday co-operation to prevent banned exports from the West entering Russia via Kazakhstan and Belarus.

The Belarusian President said his country completely supports the Kremlin’s policy of protecting Russia’s domestic market and will restrict indirect exports which are on Moscow’s banned list. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree last Wednesday ordering all government agencies to prohibit or restrict agricultural imports originating in any country that has imposed economic sanctions against Russian companies or individuals or has joined such sanctions in the last year.
