(VOVworld) – Russian Deputy Minister of Defense Anatoly Antonov said Sunday that Russia is complying with international troop limits at the border with Ukraine.

Antonov’s statement came after foreign media quoted NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander in Europe Philip Breedlove as saying that there is a large and combat-ready Russian force on Ukraine's eastern border. Antonov underscored the conclusion of international inspectors that there is no military movement on the Russia-Ukraine border threatening Ukraine’s security. The Russian Deputy Minister called on Ukraine’s military to report the real situation to their leaders to ease rising tensions.
