Russia, Vietnam foster security cooperation

(VOVworld) – Vietnam and Russia have agreed on measures to make their cooperation more effective and practical to defend each country’s national security as a contribution to maintaining peace and security in the region and the world. The measures were discussed on Tuesday during talks between Minister of Public Security General Tran Dai Quang and Director General Bortnikov A.V of the Russian Federal Security Service (RFSS), who is leading a high-ranking delegation to visit Vietnam until Thursday.

On this occasion, the two top security leaders signed a cooperation plan between Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security and the RFSS.
