She made this remark while receiving Vietnam’s Ambassador Nguyen Hoang Long (who is also Vietnam’s Ambassador to Italy) on Wednesday after he presented his credentials to co-heads of State, Teodoro Lonfernini and Denise Bronzetti. Mularoni appreciated Vietnam-San Marino diplomatic tie establishment and said Vietnam is securing a steadily growing position in the region and the world thanks to its active international cooperation and integration. Later the same day, the ambassador met with senior officials from San Marino’s Foreign Ministry, who suggested beginning negotiations for an agreement on investment protection and encouragement as an essential framework to foster investment and trade ties between the two countries.
